What is CertWorthIt? CertWorthIt is a data-driven research site that answers a single, practical question: is a given certification actually worth it? Instead of opinion pieces, it counts how often real job ads name a certification, then shows the share of ads asking for it. How it works Job-ad data at scale — 411,984 job ads counted across 10 countries (US, UK, India, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Poland), pulled from the Adzuna API. AI analysis — AI reads the ads, groups them by role, and writes the pages and reports; every figure links to its source. Certification coverage — 105 certifications tracked with job-ad data, from PMP, CAPM and PRINCE2 to CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA A+, CISSP, OSCP, AWS, Azure, Google Career Certificates, Databricks, SnowPro and Six Sigma. Key features Check any certificate by name (PMP, CCNA, AWS…) and see its real share of matching job ads. Browse by field, by role, or by country ranking — e.g. PMP named in 24% of US project manager ads, OSCP at 73% in cybersecurity. Side-by-side comparisons (CAPM vs PMP, CCNA vs CCNP, CompTIA A+ vs ITIL). A 4-question quiz that recommends certifications based on your job, experience and goal. Emailed country reports with the certifications and skills employers name most. Best for: career switchers, students and IT professionals deciding where to spend certification time and money.
